Welcome to the Weekly Vocaloid Music segment as usual, this week has been a happening week as far as Vocaloid fans are concerned since we get to know of swimsuit costumes for our favorite Vocaloid characters in the PSP game Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- (foreseeing many more pre-orders because of that =p ) , new Miku figures to be made known during the Wonder Festival 2009 in summer and also, Megpoid (Gumi) has finally been released as of yesterday! Been listening to some of her songs since then. :D

Anyway I will be posting a bit more on Megpoid songs since she’s still new around here and some of her songs are as good as it is funny xD , just read on to find out more~

A Warm Welcome To Our New Vocaloid2 Character, GUMI!

Well, now that GUMI has been officially released as of June 26th 2009 in Japan, here’s a warm welcome to the latest addition to the Vocaloid2 family by Internet software company, along with Gakupo which was released about one year ago. Welcome, GUMI~ :D

A brief introduction about Megpoid’s voice actress Nakajima Megumi will be given as well as new Megpoid songs will be stated in this post so just continue reading if you want to hear the new songs by GUMI or know more about her voice actress.

Updates For Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- As Of June 22nd 09 [Updated June 23rd]

Well, Sega sure has been regular with posting the updates for -Project DIVA- now that the game is set to be released in 10 days’ time. =P

Anyway, the -Project DIVA- website has just been updated with new costumes for all the Vocaloid characters under Crypton and this time round, our favorite Vocaloids are appearing in swimsuits instead. :D

Also, a new song by 畑亜貴 & 神前暁 has been made known which pretty much completes the song list for all the songs in -Project DIVA- (will be doing a summary post for all the updates later this week).

Yep, Sega has done another update for -Project DIVA- earlier and there’s new costumes, songs and videos related to the game. Seems like Sega has been doing an update for the game every week lately now that the game is about to be released on July 2nd.

Review – Prism Album (Rin/Len Kagamine Feat. Asami Shimoda)

Well, I actually received the album from Amazon Japan last Thursday, which I thought it would only arrive by the weekend from their initial estimates. And since I had the time to listen to the songs in Prism over the weekend I thought I might as well do a small review about the album to serve as a rough guide for those of you who may be wondering to get the album now that it has been made available.

So for those of you who may want to know more about the review for the songs in Prism just read on! =)

Black★Rock Shooter Reaches Two Million Views~

Following the reaching of one million views back in October 08, the song “Black★Rock Shooter” has finally hit two million views on Nico Nico Douga on the date of June 13th 2009 at 23:53 hours Japan Time, making it the 6th Miku only song to achieve that feat on the Nico Nico Douga Two Million Views Videos list.
