Welcome to Week 9 of the Weekly Vocaloid Music introductions, this week’s songs will be a mix of new and old ones as I will be mentioning songs which I have been enjoying and hopefully, those of you reading this will get to know and like these songs as well. And here we start this week’s Vocaloid music post.

Romeo and Cinderella (with Romaji Lyrics) – Hatsune Miku

The story of this song is about a teenage girl who’s in love with a man but was disapproved by her parents. This song has been very popular since it was uploaded onto Nico Nico Douga on April 6th and it has reached over 500,000 views in less than a month.

Also, this song has prompted other versions of the same song sung by different Vocaloid which includes Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Gakupo and Meiko. There’s also a version by Kaito, though it’s different from the original song.

Let’s Hang On (with English Lyrics) – Kagamine Len

Now, supposing if you have made a big mistake and feels very bad for it, would you choose to run away from it or decide to face things bravely? Hopefully this song from Len will give you some encouragement and motivation. This song was produced by ToruborutaP, the same person who created Rin’s famous song Kokoro.

Be Mine! – Kagamine Rin

An addicting song by Kagamine Rin. The song has a very upbeat feel and Rin’s cute voice makes it even more so. This song has even inspired someone to make custom Kagamine Rin and Len Nendoroids from the images used in this video.

PoPiPo – Hatsune Miku/Teto Kasane/Megurine Luka/Kagamine Rin

Before watching the video, let me just explain that this song is actually a quartet of individual songs by Miku, Teto, Luka and Rin with respect to the timing in which the videos were released. The songs, when played together, form one whole song but each song must be played in a certain sequence, thus making the entire thing sort of a puzzle song. It is well known for gaining a cult-following for its mimetic PV version which has become more popular than the original version.

PoPiPo (with English subs) – Hatsune Miku

PoPiPo – Teto Kasane

PoPiPo (with English subs) – Megurine Luka

PoPiPo (with English subs) – Kagamine Rin

That’s about the Vocaloid music introductions for this week, until next weekend when more Vocaloid music will be mentioned in this segment.
